Langley Forest Garden

The Langley Forest Garden is located on the hillside between Harry Thomas Rec Center and Langley Elementary School. Over the past few years, volunteers have helped plant fruit bearing trees & shrubs, local pollinator plants, flowers, and herbs. Our Forest Garden is home to Tea Camellia, Pomegranate trees, Redcurrants, Honeyberry, Green-and-Gold, Nanking Cherry bushes, Persimmon trees, Asian Pear trees, Black Raspberry bushes, Blackberry bushes, Paw Paw trees, and much more. In addition to growing food, these trees and bushes help with erosion issues that were causing the field to flood.

The Forest Garden was created with a generous partnership from DDOT Urban Forestry, Forested, and Fruit Tree Planting Foundation.
